still feeling the results of walking all round nyc in my feet.. caught clinic and the rapture last night at the bowery ballroom, where just a few days prior suds and i experience the magic that is le tigre! obviously the le tigre show kicked out the rollerskate jams and clinic kinda went by like a speeding train.. but the rapture my dear children, they are the new band i heart.. damn! this 80's revival is bad in some ways, as we saw with le tigre's openers (W.I.T, the plantains) who reminded us of minimal synthpop with dirty lyrics.. which i love.. but not from these acts.. i digress.

now for the onslaught of 80's revivalists who borrow stuff from gang of four, early cure, even bauhaus, my hats go off to you dear sirs..the rapture, black dice, !!!, the liars, radio 4.. so many good bands coming outta the nyc/brooklyn area! damn!
