scrambled into nyc last night to listen to neil gaiman read a chapter from his new children's story "Coraline".. which by the way is the perfect tale for any child you love! raced up the escalators as his woice graced our ears.. this man has the ability to make everyone feel at home in the middle of union square barnes and noble.. we found our way in place on the long line to meet him.. well more than three hours after scarfing done some seriously good veggie burgers and getting told we were gross we faced the fact that we werent going to meet neil seeing as the barnes and noble was closing right then.. we've met him like three times already and it was a bit of a let down to give up and go..
i cant seem to escape this blasted thing called kazaa.. i find myself constantly downloading songs and making mix ceedees for my chums and my cowgirl.. today i am finding a shit job in the shit town where the streets and people smell of shit.. as long as i hear this new tori song i will be ok cause it reminds me of the american prairie.. she uses a western accent for some lines and i feel the dirt under my feet and can see tumbleweed blowin ahead for miles of empty flat lands..
and i rode alongside
til you lost it there in the open road
and i road alongside
until the honey spread itself so thin for me
to break your bread
for me to take your word
i had to steal it
