we like having these things!
try this boyz, an xxxtra hour of sunlite fills our hollow earth today heating things up finally.. another weekend of concerts well spread out and diverse as eva..
gold chains rocked the parti like you wish you could.. this san franciscan duo mounted their imacs and rapped us some delights.. when their album drops on PIAS records dont forget to pick that shit up foolz..
sped down houston and over broadway to the chelsea grande for some 2manydjs action straight from belgium.. the party had been going on for some time and no space was alloted for our sorry asses.. we refused to wait online and grooved to some old school hip hop up on st marks near the yaffa cafe..
last night we spied the notwist at the knitting factory.. five german lads who cant do any wrong with their album of the year melodies and catchy pop tunes we bobbed our headz and tried to close our wide grins.. menacing guitars shot forth much like my bloody valentine at their loudest and like belle and sebastian at their softest.. we also go three encores with seven extra songs..
today i study for another biology exam and then parti once more tomorrow at the ever fashionable elctroclash club luxx in hipsterville williamsburg.. the MOVING UNITS are playing their first brooklyn show and its gonna be a treat.. watch out DFA they kick the rapture squa in the nuts.. booyahhh
oh yeah i must add that the notwist started their set off by spinnin this appropriate piece of wax:
Mother, mother
There's too many of you crying
Brother, brother, brother
There's far too many of you dying
You know we've got to find a way
To bring some lovin' here today - Ya
Father, father
We don't need to escalate
You see, war is not the answer
and they kept looping that last line over and over as the crowd cheered them on..
