heading to the airport is a must when remy is driving.. how could i refuse the offer.. listening to our regular driving music of fischerspooner, miss kitten, adult., gentlemen of leisure and vnv nation we raced out to jfk airport to drop off marta for a summer in poland. she be working for da supreme court as a translator.. lucky girl.. no tears were shed but jealousy shed all over my face as i wanted to fly on british airways to heathrow and take a bus down to brighton.. thats what killed the most. airports and the need to move and keep moving and never stop reaching for those goals in the stars..

speeding back towards the isle of manhatten to see a K records showcase that featured calvin johnson and mirah was much needed for therapy.. remy and i searched ages for a parking spot only to find one on 11th street which was totally unoccupied and bugged us out and the girl who parked behind us so much that we couldnt stop discussing the emptiness till we got to our destination - brownies.. i thought of bo as i walked in cause she went here bravely alone to see the hissyfits and galvinized over a year ago.. met up with jen inside who got stood up by her date a hour ago.. then to the merchandise table that mirah was watching with mr calvin johnson.. picked up the new microphones 7" and ran back out to be awed by calvin's funny new songs and strong vocal cords that took requests since he was playing for the "fans".. when asked about where beat happening was he said, "i think they have are seling a ceedee in the back." then to be numbed by mirah's sweetest voice and cute stories of her glasses sliding up her sweaty face in this heat.. then made us sing back up and do some booms and clinks as her percussion section.. we were in the boom section. i didnt want the songs to end but she ended the night with a "suprise song" - a bruce springsteen cover! after the show i asked her to come to the radio station next time round and she agreed.. but i have to wait till october.. no problem..

this weekend is luna and slumber party on friday the dyke march on saturday..
